Lil Skies, real name Kimetrius Foose, was introduced to music by his father, Michael Burton Jr., a fellow musician better known as "Dark Skies". This evidently lit something in Foose at a young age, and he went on to write music at the age of four - and the inspiration of his father shows in the play on his stage name.
