Saw this production 2 years ago and it was amazing! The most dazzling night of my life. I wish I could attend annually, but it's also incredibly expensive!

Ben Stevenson is a Genius.

NOW I understand why they say Ben Stevenson is so famous. His Nutcracker choreography is light, hilarious when necessary and all together delightful. I have seen literally 60 plus Nutcrackers over the past 10 plus years. If you are a Ballet Person you will understand why it can be a rather trying ballet. This was handled in such a way that it remains timeless yet relevant. My young niece (aged 6) had never seen it. She asked “Are these real people?” Magical. I’ve seen some of Stevenson’s other ballets performed by other companies, notably Dracula. It’s brilliant. Further, he has created a cohesive, steady company that has staying power. Dancers don’t leave - for a reason. Talent mixed w/ long time skill - this is what you’ll get. Experienced dancers make it look easy. Newer dancers make it look breathtaking. You are lucky to have this company in your city. I will fly in to see The Firebird in February. You should too.

Magnificent show. The dancers were amazing Seemed to be enjoying themselves, which made the story that much more enjoyable. The costumes were so colorful. The dancers make-up was perfect for making their features pop! This story had little girls and boys spinning as they walked out. Great seats, good size theatre for being close to the stage. Would highly suggest for a Great afternoon, or a wonderful date might.

A little disappointing

I have to say I have been looking forward to this night for a few weeks. Beautiful venue, good atmosphere, and stage presence stunning. My disappointment comes because music was so low you could hear the ballet shoes slide across the stage. The ballerinas were merely ok... not together and quite a big of slips and mistakes. I felt like I was at my daughters dance recital. Not an actual “Ballet”. The male dancers were actually very good. High jumps, leaps and turns. Will never attend this dance company production again.

Attended on Sunday with my grandkids. The biggest dissapointment was - no orchestra to play Tchaikovsky music.....it was casted through the speakers without a bam! There was not as much ballet as I expected through the performance. Very few good dancers (a couple of males), the rest were not professional at all. Good, colorful contumes - that was nice to see. During intermission I saw people were buying popcorn to eat while watching a ballet! That was the craziest thing for me. So dissapointed.
