Amazing Show In Spite of AA C rebuff
Great show for Queen and Adam Lambert on Tuesday July 23rd 2019 in spite of the AA Center not extending them any welcoming courtesies. At every other venue Queen + Adam Lambert have perfromed at, on this tour have rolled out the red carpet. AAC did nothing! They even took the gifts some folks had brought for Roger Taylor's and Brian May's birthdays and promised to delivery them but it never happened. How embarrassing. Houston treated them like royalty but not Dallas. Add to that, Brian losing a knob off his iconic guitar at then end of the show - it still hasn't shown up - that knob was hand made by Brian May when he was 16/17 so it's irreplaceable. It guarantees that Dallas will stand out for it's lack of hospitality for the rest of Dr. May's life. I'm ashamed of my home town! This is not how Dallas should treat visiting guests.
There were some goofs but I LOVED it!
I've been wanting to see Queen since before Freddie died. I agree that Adam is probably the only person that could attempt to step into that role. He has a phenomenal vocal range and great stage presence. He bobbled a few words at one point and just gave a cute 'oops' type gesture. It was the perfect way to handle it. I loved that a lot of the show was kind of done like Roger, Brian, and Adam were just jamming and that there were cameras in place to accommodate. I'm usually ok when they change songs slightly but I do wish that Adam wouldn't change the cadence or the words in Bohemian Rhapsody - that's just too iconic. Anyway - loved it, loved it, loved it. This is probably my last concert - so glad it was Queen!
Loved it!
Every aspect of it--from the musicians, to the set list, to the special effects--was fabulous. It was so worth it that if I have a chance to see them again, I'm splurging on a floor seat.
Astonishing! Chitown HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2023!
What a performance by Adam and originals! True passion. The sounds of music, voice, stage, lighting, the falling leaves, confetti, the clothing of massive sparkle and platform boots!! Many costume changes! Solo guitar moments by Brain May were breathtaking!!! Rodger on the drums magnificent! True, Rock and Rollers! The screens of Freddy talking to us………! Heartwarming. Adam doesn’t try to “BE†Freddy…..he honors him. The crowd was explosive! Ty Queen Family!
Crushed It in Chicago
Don’t know how Roger and Brian do it. Absolutely fabulous. Great guitar (riffs) and drum work (second to none). Adam was his usual brilliant flashy, flamboyant self. If you’’re considering going to see these guys, definitely do it.
My man has man crush!
Loved loved loved it!!!! Do your self a favor and go to this concert! I can’t help but wonder how they pack and get to next town in such a short time-the staging and show is a massive production! The solo with Roger Taylor-Shazam! Brian May -unspeakable! And Adam, well if he’s open…. We loved the entire show!
