Did not disappoint
This show had the audience in the palm of their hands. A realistic look at what our high school kids can face and how easy it is to misunderstand. Excellent actors! Go see this!
mesorizing
Beautiful story presented in a great way - vert talented cast & band!! Music is fabulous and powerful. No downsides - all good - don't miss it you have the opportunity to see it.
The best musical
I have seen and enjoyed many musicals. I however have never loved, cried, laughed, and felt so emotionally invested in any other musical. The amount of feeling these actors put through there words and voices was amazing. This one goes out to anyone that has ever felt alone or like they were not good enough. Things will get better. No one deserves to feel like they could disappear and no one deserves to be forgotten. The April 5th cast in Providence was the best cast and gave the best performance that I have ever seen.
Great production
Have to start off by saying this production is a terrific version of this show. The only problem is the sound which has been an issue all season at PPAC. We’ve been subscribers for years but this year something has changed. Not sure if there is an in house sound engineer (which seems to be as it’s been an issue with every production this year) or if it’s the system that’s built in and all production companies have to use it. Whatever the reason, the sound has been so inconsistent for every show. Our seats are in the first half dozen rows on the aisle, so there should be no reason that we can’t hear the dialogue but it’s been terrible. Hopefully they can get it together or we probably won’t renew.
Beautiful and moving
I was hooked when Ben opened his mouth I fell in love with him. I believed him I cried they must of this. During intermission people were crying all around me people were passing tissue around For real!! It was emotional and gut wrenching. I loved it The whole cast wax excellent and I liked the music It is worth seeing
Authentic and honest. Everyone should see!
Matt Kemp, Fairport native, delivered a powerful, authentic, heart felt performance as Evan. We laughed, we cried and we held our breath. It is a comedy as much as a drama. Outstanding singers and songs. DEH is not a shallow musical.
