Why See Bob Weir?
Bob & friends
Last year's Blue Mountain was a special album for Bob Weir. It was the first record of entirely original material form the Grateful Dead man in thirty years, and is also a deeply personal one. Described as a 'cowboy album', Blue Mountain is composed of lovingly produced country-tinged fireside songs, recalling the music that first peaked Weir's interest way back in youth.
This accompanying Campfire Tour features a whole bunch of the musicians that collaborated with Weir on the record, including three members of indie rock giants The National (all die-hard deadheads) - Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Scott Devendorff - and winner of NBC's The Voice Kosh Kaufman. Catch them all when Bob Weir hits Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, TX, April 13, 2017
